I just came home after watching Kabir Singh . I can proudly say it is one of the best of indian cinema & of shahid kapoor .

I would rate it 8.5 due to three major to some ( -ve reviewers ) minor in my opinion problems .

1st one is length . If the movie was 10 minutes shorter that would be a lot better because after interval it feel dragged at times .

2nd is few dialogues of Kiara advani . Although her scenes are enough according to storyline but you will feel her lack of dialogues .

3rd is misogynistic , it feels in some scenes which could be easily have been trimmed . I read some reviews which were saying this & that . They are clearly overreacting . I mean his attitude is same towards everyone be it man or woman . What is so wrong in asking anyone directly about physical relation . It’s way better than those rapists . Atleast he is asking for your approval .

Now the good , there’s a lot to look forward to . His entry , his attitude , style of direction . You will hate him , love him but you will definitely keep up with him . What’s next , what he will do now .

And kiara is too beautiful & simple . A girl who is well mannered & care about her family approval & is ready to go beyond boundaries for her love . She is the perfect antidote to kabirs aggression .

I think his little conversation with his father at the end perfectly describes the situation he is facing .
