Overview of Queryee’s Advertising Policies
It is our firm belief that advertising on Queryee should lead to better experiences for all those people who use this platform, besides giving the advertisers positive results. We would like your campaigns to reach out to the right kind of people and your services or products to prove useful, helpful, and resourceful for others. Because of these reasons, we have in place high quality standards for business ads. No less importantly, if an ad does not comply with our standards, we might reject them. We reserve the right (but in no sense it means it is our responsibility) for reviewing advertisements for compliance with our high standards. Having said that, in every case, it is your responsibility to review and ensure all of your advertisements fully comply with the Advertising Policy of Queryee.
Misrepresentation & Trust
Misrepresentation & Trust Policies
It is important that all information listed in your advertisement should be appropriate to the services or products that you are providing or offering. The information must not misrepresent in any way the service or product that you are offering. These rules apply to each and every component of your advertisement as well as the landing page.
Generally speaking, Queryee does not permit:
- Promotions that do not truthfully or accurately represent your services, your products, or your company
- Promotions that prompt Queryee users to initiate an action (like downloading or purchasing) without first offering all important information and getting the user’s clear consent
The Queryee Platform is likely to turn down your advertisement if they:
- Promise users an attractive promotional offer but makes it difficult for users to locate the same on your company’s landing page
- Make exaggerated or misleading claims regarding your services or products
- Make untruthful statements regarding your qualifications, experience, or identity
- Use untruthful claims to entice users
- Tricking users into interacting with your business
- Making competitive claims (such as ads with superlatives like “top”, “#1”, “best” etc., without any 3rd party verification on your company’s landing page
- Deliberately concealing information related to your services, products, or business. This includes failure to disclose terms of payment or billing practices followed by your company
Queryee might suspend your account if:
- Your ad information does not match with your account info
- There is no Terms of Service or a Privacy Policy on your website
Prohibited Content
Illegal and Dishonesty Activity
Queryee aims to offer a trustworthy and honest experience to all users. For this reason, we do not permit advertisements which enable illegal or dishonest behavior on Queryee.
Hacking and Badware
Queryee does not allow promotion of content like malware or spyware on its platform. Nor do we promote such content as those which results in a deceptive or misleading user experience.
Academic fraud
Queryee never promotes services which enable any kind of academic fraud.
Artificial metric boosters
Queryee does not ever promote services which allow people to gain an unfair advantage over others by making use of artificially boosting metrics. Examples include, buying followers on social media, buying likes on social media, buying app reviews or installs, exchange products or services for reviews, and buying or selling backlinks.
False documentation
Queryee does not allow promotion or selling of false documents like fake passports, fake IDs, etc.
Counterfeit or imitation Goods
Queryee does not promote the sale of goods that are counterfeited.
Trademark violations
Advertisements (this includes landing pgs) should never have any content which violates or infringes upon rights of another party, including trademark, copyright, publicity, privacy, or other proprietary or personal rights. The responsibility of using proper copyright and trademark lies solely with the advertiser. Queryee reserves the full right to take off ads if someone complaints that they are infringing upon or violating copyright and trademark of others.
Financial Services with No Guaranteed Returns
- Payday loans
- Queryee does not promote payday loans in any manner.
- Securities
- Queryee does not promote any specific ads or securities which claim to provide or actually provide insider tips
- Get-rich-quick schemes
- Queryee does not promote any get-rich-quick schemes.
- Crowdfunding campaigns for personal needs
- Queryee does not promote content related to campaigns involving crowd-sourced funding to meet a personal need.
Drugs, Violence & Adult Content
Adult services or products
Queryee does not promote adult-oriented products or services. Examples include advertisements which depict nudity or depict people in suggestive or explicit positions, or activities which are sexually provocative or overly suggestive.
Recreational or illegal drugs or unsafe supplements
Queryee does not promote the sale of recreational or illegal drugs, nor do we promote supplements that are known to be harmful, unsafe, or questionable.
Tobacco
Queryee does not promote tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigarettes, or various other paraphernalia such as rolling papers, pipe cleaners, or pipes.
Violence
Queryee does not promote advertisements which we deem as sensationalist, excessively violent, disrespectful, or shocking. This includes all types of content which expresses racism, harassment, political or religious intolerance, or hatred.
Ammunition, Explosives, and Weapons
Queryee does not promote firearm accessories, ammunition, firearms, or any other type of weapon. Queryee also does not permit advertisements which provide instruction regarding how to use firearms or weapons that might lead to killing or harming people.
Additional Prohibited Content
Affiliate programs and links
Queryee does not allow using affiliate links as landing page URLs. Examples include websites and landing pages made for the only purpose of promoting affiliate links.
Contact info in ad copy
Queryee does not allow advertisers to include any kind of contact info (like email address or phone numbers) in their advertisement copy. Any information regarding how users can contact the advertiser should be included in the landing page, not the advertisement copy.
Controversial practices
Queryee does not promote controversial practices such as:
- Faith healing
- Astrology
- Psychic Readings
Deceptive content
Queryee does not promote content which is misleading or aims to deceive the user into believing untruthful information.
Queryee does not promote any sort of application websites (like visa application websites) which are not affiliated with the government.
High-risk practices
Queryee doesn’t promote practices which are extremely high-risk and can result in considerable harm to users and do not offer unrealistic cures.
Examples include:
- Biohacking
- Homeopathic treatments
- Ingestible ayurvedic medicine
Live animals
Queryee does not promote sales of live animals of any sort. Nor do we promote sales of products derived from at-risk or endangered species.
Political content
Queryee does not allow advertisements which promote specific parties, candidates, or political committees.
Products that make unrealistic claims
Queryee does not promote products which make unrealistic claims, for example, weight-loss products that promise unrealistic goals or encourages unhealthy lifestyles.
