This Queryee Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) states our procedures and policies pertaining to the collection, disclosure, sharing and use of your personal information when you use the Queryee Platform. Kindly note this Privacy Policy applies to activities by Queryee.

Overview

Information We Collect	Queryee collects information directly from users (e.g. when someone creates a Queryee account; payment and billing information; records of your communication on the Queryee platform or with us) and when you make use of the Queryee platform (information is collected automatically) through cookies.
How is your information used	Your information is used by us for providing and improving our services, offering personalized (this includes displaying relevant ads), gathering analytics, marketing and promoting the Queryee platform, preventing misuse and fraud, complying with the law, and many other purposes that are described below
How is your information shared	Your information is shared by us with our Queryee affiliates, researchers, third-party providers, third-party publishers and advertisers, law enforcement (when necessary), and others (described below). Information Queryee Collects

Apart from collecting information directly from you, we collect information from third parties as well as automatically through your usage of Queryee platform.

• Account and Profile Data. When someone creates an account and set up a profile on Queryee Platform, we collect their name, email address, and other information provided to us, like the topics they find interesting or know about. While creating your profile, you can add your photo, place of residence, education history, employment details, and other information. After you have created a profile, other users of the Queryee platform will be able to see specific information related to your activity on the platform, like the questions you post and answers you give, topics of interest, your credentials, your followers, etc.
• Your Content. Queryee collects the content and information you post on the platform, which includes your questions, photos, answers, comments, etc.  Provided you have not posted a piece of content anonymously, it will be publicly viewable, as would be the date and time stamps and all comments associated with it. Search engines might index your content and republish it elsewhere on the net in accordance with Queryee’s Terms of Service.
• Communication Records. When you contact us via email, we keep a record of the communication.
• Third Party Application Login. Users can log into their Queryee account using 3^rd party applications (such as Facebook). When you log in using a 3^rd party application, we collect your name and email address linked to that 3^rd party application for identity and application purposes.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our 3^rd party providers use cookies, pixel tags, local storage objects, log files, and other similar technologies for automatically collecting your activities-related information, like your page views, searches, date of your visit, and other information pertaining to your use of the Queryee Platform. Additionally, we collect information related to your mobile device or web browser in regard to your use of Queryee Platform like the browser type, type of mobile or computer device, mobile carrier, IP address, browser language, unique device identifier, and referring and requested URLs. Keep in mind that we receive information whenever you view content on the Queryee Platform or otherwise have an interaction on the Queryee Platform. This is true and applicable even if you do not have a Queryee account.
• Platform Engagement Data. The Queryee Platforms collect browsing information, like IP address, user agent, date and time stamp, URLs visited, Queryee cookie, content identifiers, unique advertising identifiers (this includes mobile device advertising identifiers), and other information pertaining to your activities on the Queryee Platform. We also collect this information from 3^rd party websites and services that have embedded our Queryee pixels (“Pixels”), widgets, plug-ins, buttons, or related technologies.
• Data from Advertisers. 3^rd party advertisers who use our Ad Services might also provide us information pertaining to you as part of their advertising campaigns for creating custom audiences to personalize their advertising campaigns or to measure the efficacy of their advertising.

 

How We Use Your Information and Legal Basis for Processing

The Queryee Platform processes the information it collects for the purposes detailed below and under the legal basis mentioned below. You might refuse to submit personal information via the Queryee Platform. However, if you do so, keep in mind that in that case might not be able to offer you certain services.

• Provide our Services.For providing to you the services that we offer on the Queryee Platform and for making the Queryee Platform available to everyone, for communicating with you regarding your usage of Queryee Platform, for responding to your queries, for providing troubleshooting, and for several other customer-service related purposes.
• To customize the information and content which we or advertisers or our 3^rd party content publishers might display or send to you in Queryee Platform. • Marketing and Promotions. For promotional and marketing purposes, like for sending you news, promotions, special offers, or for otherwise contacting you about information or products we think might interest you, which includes information related to 3^rd party services and products.  Providing interesting promotions and marketing message is in our legit interest. Wherever applicable, we would gather your consent prior to sending these types of marketing communications to you. You can also unsubscribe at any time.
• Enable Communications. For facilitating communications that you send our way or to other Queryee users. The Queryee Platform processes information related to who you have communicated with to gain a better understanding of your usage of our services. This type of processing is critical for compliance with our contractual obligations to you.
• For gathering metrics and analytics for better understanding how people use the Queryee Platform. Please note we make use of analytics data for improving and evaluating the Queryee Platform, which includes personalization and the Ad Services, and for developing new services and products. Making information decisions related to product development is in our legit business interests.
• Comply with Law. For complying with legal obligations, as part of our general business operations. Please note this processing is critical for compliance with legal obligations and for serving our legit business interests in compliance with various laws.
• Prevent Misuse and Fraud. For preventing, investigating, or taking action in relations with suspected fraud, illegal activities, situations that involve potential threats to safety of one or more persons or violation of our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service. Please note that this type of processing is critical to show compliance with legal obligations we are under and for serving our legit business interest by preventing any incidences of misuse of Queryee platform, which includes through fraud and illegal activities.

 

 

How We Share Your Information

Your information is shared as outlined below, and you have consented or where users have requested to do so:

Service Providers. The Queryee Platform shares your information with 3^rd party service providers who use this information for performing services for us, like hosting providers, payment processors, advisors, auditors, customer service providers, consultants, and those service providers who help us in offering the Ad Services.

Queryee Affiliates. Information collected about you might be shared with or accessed by affiliates of Queryee.

Business Transfers. Queryee might transfer or disclose your information as part of a sale, merger, and transfer of our assets, restructuring or acquisition or part or all of our business, or bankruptcy.

Platform Engagement Information. The Queryee Platforms shares aggregate statistics, reports and metrics related to the performance of our publishers and advertisers advertisements in Queryee with them. Your Choices and Settings

Users can not only update their privacy settings but they can also controls the types of communications and notifications we send and restrict the information shared within the Queryee Platform at any time. Shared below is further information related to your settings and choices.

Your Content. You might delete or edit answers posted by you anytime. Questions posted by you might remain on Queryee. Other Queryee users would be able to view the history of your content edits inside your profile activity. Keep in mind that all deleted content would be deleted from 3^rd party websites from which is has been shared through Queryee’s standard sharing features. But remember that we possess no control whatsoever over changes or deletions to your content in case others have mutually shared it.

Emails and Notifications. When users set up a Queryee profile, they would get email digests having content from Queryee Platform which we believe might match their interests. You might also receive notices related to other content from Queryee Platform which might be of interest to you, like Spaces you like following. Additionally, users might be able to sent invites and communications to contacts imported via their Queryee account by text, phone, or email. If you want, you can opt out of receiving notifications or emails from Queryee by changing your Emails settings and Notifications settings. However, keep in mind that we would still send transactional emails (if any) related to your Queryee account.

Interactions with Other Users. Users can adjust their settings to limit those who could send them messages on Queryee or comment on their posts and answers.

Profile Discoverability. If you do not want others to discover your account by using your contact information or searching for your name, you can do so by adjusting your settings for blocking others.

Topics and Spaces. Want to change Topics and Spaces you are affiliated with? You can do so within your profile.

Credentials. Users can change their credentials (such as education history, employment details) which are shown in their profile.

Indexed Search. Users can control whether their profile is indexed by Google and other search engines or not.

Deleted or Deactivated Account. In case you opt for “Delete Content” in the profile’s settings, then keep in mind that your entire content would be removed from public visibility on Queryee Platform and we might not restore it. In case you opt for “Deactivate Account,” then keep in mind that we will no longer send any communications to us, nor would other users be able to have interaction with you. That said, your content would remain on the Queryee Platform. If you want to reactivate your Queryee account, you can do so anytime by logging into it. Children’s Privacy

Queryee neither knowingly collects nor solicits personal information from anyone who is not yet 14 years or old. Nor do we knowingly allow such persons to set up a Queryee account. In case it comes to our knowledge that we have collected personal information from a child aged less than 13, we take immediate steps to remove the account in question.

Non-Discrimination. Queryee would not discriminate against you, which includes by denying or offering a different level or quality of services in case you opt to exercise your privacy rights.

Privacy Policy Updates
