Prabhas.
I had high expectations from Prabhas after Baahubali but not only his films have been bad, there have been several allegations of plagiarism. Although Prabhas hasn’t done that himself, frequent accusations have ruined his work for me. Allegations of plagiarism: from poster design to story and art direction.
The story of his 2011 film Mr. Perfect was plagiarized from Shyamala Rani’s novel. As per Rani, the court decided in her favor in 2019.
As we know, after Baahubali duology, Prabhas earned nationwide recognition and praise from abroad too. That becomes a lot of responsibility, and I, like millions of others, expected Prabhas will do some kick-arse projects in the upcoming time. But that is far from reality.
His next big release Saaho, other than being unwatchable, had at least three allegations of plagiarism:
And now, another upcoming film that has been heavily panned even before release for its trial VFX. And… another plagiarised poster with Prabhas in it. Parampara, Pratishtha, Anushasan!
