No, IGNOU does not offer an associate degree. IGNOU offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, but not an associate degree. An associate degree is a two-year degree that is typically awarded by community colleges or technical schools. IGNOU is a distance learning university that offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs that can be completed entirely online.
However, IGNOU does have a scheme called “Associate Studentship” which allows students to register for a limited number of courses, subject to a minimum of 8 credits and maximum of 32 credits. This scheme is designed for students who want to pursue a degree from IGNOU but are unable to commit to the full-time workload of a regular degree program.
If you are interested in pursuing an associate degree, you may want to consider a community college or technical school. These institutions offer a variety of associate degree programs that can lead to a variety of careers. You can find a list of community colleges and technical schools in your area by visiting the website of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC).
