If your parents are forcing you to take science, you can try the following:
Talk to your parents about your interests. Explain to them why you are not interested in science and what you are interested in instead.
Do some research on different career paths. Show your parents that there are many different career paths that do not require a science degree.
Get help from a career counselor. A career counselor can help you explore your interests and find a career path that is right for you.
Make a plan. Once you know what you want to do, make a plan for how you are going to achieve your goals. This may include taking extra classes, getting involved in extracurricular activities, or finding a mentor.
Be persistent. It may take some time to convince your parents to let you pursue your dreams. Don’t give up. Keep talking to them and showing them that you are serious about your goals.
It is important to remember that you are not alone. Many people are in the same situation as you. There are resources available to help you. With hard work and determination, you can achieve your goals.
Here are some additional tips:
Try to find a compromise with your parents. Maybe you can take a few science classes, but also take some classes that you are interested in.
Be respectful of your parents’ wishes. Even if you don’t agree with them, they are still your parents and they love you.
Don’t give up on your dreams. Keep working hard and eventually you will achieve your goals.
