It can be only hypothetical because in reality they would never pick these scripts I think. Because, the script doesn’t belong to their native region and they can’t do justice to it. But let’s assume it happens hypothetically.

First let’s see how RRR by Mani sir would end up as.

The story is a mix of real life characters and fiction. Let’s consider the base story remains the same and for a telugu major release the director would choose the same actors .

• Mani sir won’t spend much on grandeur and sets. Budget would have been lot lesser.
• Music would have been by none other than ARR.
• Intro sequence of RamCharan would have say at a max 50fighters to make it real. Jr. NTR rescuing Ramcharan on his shoulder’s would not have been there. ( In Original, even though it was unreal, these sequences were loved by the masses)
• Climax sequence would have been slightly different

End Result : Movie would not have been this grandeur theatrical experience. Telugu audience would not have loved and celebrated it as much as now. Financially, a lot less profitable venture for the producer.

Next let’s see PS by Rajamouli sir :

I am sure, it would have been a 4part movie or atleast a 3-part movie for 2reasons.

1. Because of his big success with Baahubali, he has the bargaining power to make the producer invest more money . So no budget constraints to restrict it to a 2-part.( Remember, mani sir accepting budget was one of the main reasons for it to become a 2-part movie)
2. He would not want to rush through and would give more time to establish each character with the cushion of having more runtime.

Again I assume for simplicity, that he chooses same actors.

• Sets and CG would have been lot more grandeur.
• Definitely not a single 150 day schedule to complete the full filming.
• Excellent Intro scenes for Vandhiyathevan, Aditha Karikaalan and Arunmozhi guaranteed.
• Music by MM Keeravani.
• The current-version’s climax fight sequence, I can only imagine how super-human it would have got shot and definitely will be a thrilling experience to watch it in theater.
• A grand stunt sequence would have been definitely planned for the VijayalaChola’s story. I read that Mani sir had thought of of a full CGI 10min sequence with none other than MGR as VijayalaChola. It would have become a reality. (Would have been one hell of a sequence). Sure we missed it.
• End Result : Movie would have been a grand success and lot of criticism it would have invited for the unbelievable fight sequences.
