Before he was about to become a king kattappa takes him to the hiding place. Then amarendra comes to mahirmathi.
Mahendra asks amarendra to become the king but amarendra refuses due to his old age.
So, Mahendra becomes king and marries avanthika. Then avanthika becomes queen. The couple have a son called Virendra Bahubali then they all live together happily. Suddenly a war happens. With strong people mahirmathi wins and again they live happily ever after.
