There are likely many animal species that meet these criteria, and one notable example is the snake.
Snakes lack visible external ears, which means they don’t hear sounds in the same way humans do. However, they have remnants of the hearing apparatus within their heads, and this structure is connected to their jawbones. As a result, snakes are highly attuned to vibrations and can perceive low-frequency airborne sounds, allowing them to sense their environment acoustically.
