If gravity failed, the planets would continue in a straight line in whatever direction they were moving when gravity failed. This means that the Earth would fly off into space, taking everything on it with it. The other planets would do the same.

There is no “bottom of the universe”. The universe is expanding, so there is no end to it. If the planets were to continue flying in a straight line, they would eventually reach the edge of the universe and keep going. However, it is more likely that the planets would collide with each other or with other objects in space before they reached the edge of the universe.

The lack of gravity would also have a number of other effects on the universe. The stars would no longer be able to hold onto their planets, so the planets would fly off into space. The galaxies would also start to fall apart as the stars and planets within them flew off into space.

The universe would be a very different place without gravity. It would be a place of chaos and destruction, with no stars, planets, or galaxies. It would be a place where nothing could survive.

Here are some other things that would happen if gravity failed:

    • The Earth’s atmosphere would be pulled away into space, leaving the planet a barren, lifeless rock.
    • The Sun would no longer be able to hold onto its atmosphere, and it would eventually cool and die.
    • The other stars in the universe would also cool and die.
    • The universe would become a cold, dark, and empty place.
