Being an Iitian , I will say that it really played major role in my life. After seeing this film I gone with my interest and didn’t listened to others.
This is the most popular film amongst engineering students . After seeing this all engineers (even that of iits) started thinking for excellence in their fields. It made them to think in innovative manner.
They know that if you are excellent in your field(which will come only if you are interested) then you don’t have to care for placements.
Truly it is my favorite movie.
