The calving ground for these animals is located off the coast of Georgia. During the spring, they undertake a migration northward to the Bay of Fundy, which is situated between Maine and Nova Scotia. In the summer, they feed on copepods in this region. It is believed that their breeding ground is located on Brown’s Bank, found between George’s Bank and the Bay of Fundy.
