Both phrases “carry a purse” and “wear a purse” can be used to describe the action of women using a purse. However, “carry a purse” is a more common expression. Women typically carry purses to hold their personal belongings such as wallets, keys, makeup, and other essentials. The purse is usually held by hand or worn over the shoulder with a strap. So, while “carry a purse” is the more commonly used phrase, both expressions can be used interchangeably to refer to the act of women using a purse.
