“None.”
No matter the breed, no dog will indefinitely tolerate an unsupervised toddler because young children are unaware when they harm or hurt animals. It is imperative to closely supervise toddlers when they interact with any dog, irrespective of the breed, age, or training of the dog. Even older children require supervision when around animals. Children at that age have committed distressing acts towards dogs, such as cutting their ears with scissors, inserting objects into their bodies, and causing harm to puppies by throwing them against walls.
Relying on the dog’s “temperament” can never replace the need for constant supervision.
