    No.

    I doubt it

    For the following reasons:-

    (a) The Audience – Todays Audience is far more cynical than in 1995 or 1998. They would scoff at the characters and ask questions like “Kajol has no clue about Raj except what she knows about him over 7 days. How can she spend her life with him”

The Romance concept of the 90s would be mockery today. Todays audiences would prefer a more realistic light hearted but realistic ending to movies like say Bala (2019) or ambigious movies like Piku (2015). Its why Zero or Jab Harry met Sejal flopped completely.

    (b) The Length – Back in 1995 – 3 Hours and 25 Minutes was no issue whatsoever. Happily sit in the AC and enjoy the show. Today – No way. Todays audiences with their smartphones cannot sit through more than 2 Hour 45 Minutes at the most and usually 2 Hour 20 Minutes.

So KKHH or DDLJ simply cannot be released today. If these movies were released today – DDLJ would have to end with an Emotional Scene where Amrish Puri going to Punjab and is on the way to the airport with his family is stopped by Raj who tells him he loves his daughter and eventually giving in – in London itself.

KKHH would have ended at least 30 minutes earlier in the Camp itself when Kajol would have told SRK – “You missed the Bus. Sorry!!! Aman loves me truly and you choose the more beautiful Tina. You are untrustworthy despite your so called dreamy look and dialouges” and SRK would have wished her well and gone home with his mother and daughter.

    (c) The Feminism Concept – Feminism would mean both Simran and Anjali would be regarded as weak characters today. Simran would be seen as weak not to protest to her Bauji who would be seen as a Sexist Chauvinist while Anjali would be seen as weak and hesitant and wavering.

Their characters would be rejected outright

    (d) The Songs – In the 1990s it was a great thing to have 6 songs of 5–6 minutes each with Latajis golden voice and Udit/Sonus melodious voice but today – No way. A Song is regarded as a disturbance in most cases and people may find a maximum 3 songs agreeable and not more than 4 minutes each. Take Jab Tak Hain Jaan – one huge complaint was its 6 songs.

So in my view – No. It is doubtful

Same for Maine Pyar Kiya or HAHK or Dil to Pagal Hain or any such film.

Only Comedies are usually ageless. Maybe some Hitchcock movies or some Drama films like Gone with the Wind. Otherwise – 1990s are for the 1990s
