Neither

Both were utterly unrealistic and completely unlikely to be happening in real life

Both movies were full of 50 Paise Nationalism where:-

• Amrish Puris Overacting with respect to Letters from India and his ridiculous and steadfast conservativeness in bringing up his daughters who according to him must listen to Old Woman Songs at 6 PM.
• Rani Mukherjis sanskaari form where she comes from “London Oxford University” to do her final year in Indias College
• Om Jai Jagdish being the Go To Sanskaari Tune for both movies

However DDLJ was far better in many other areas compared to KKHH such as :-

→ Comedy – Anupam Kher was oustanding in DDLJ and had an Able supporting cast in Comedy from HImani Shivpuri to SRK to Satish Shah to even Mandira Bedi meanwhile in KKHH the only Comedy came from Johnny Lever and it was seriously not funny in any way at all.

→ Strong Scenes – SRK – Kajols “Listen to me Simran” scene or the Scene where SRK tells her he wont be coming to her wedding in the Station were powerful scenes and very intense. KKHH had no such scenes whatsoever and all scenes were ridiculous with Kajol overacting as a Tomboy and constantly weeping all the time as a Bride.

→ Logic??? – DDLJ had some logic at least and you had some time spend between SRK and Kajol to help them fall in love. KKHH had Zero Logic from Rani Mukherji writing 8 Letters to her daughter to be read on her 8th Birthday (The Kid would be going to 4th Standard!!!)

On the whole this was a 90s Era Romance Drama Genre Film full of Sickly Sweet SRK Love that continued all the way until 2006 with Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna before Audiences finally decided SRK was no longer King Khan
