Based on my personal experience, no, dying is not a scary experience.

Several years ago, I lost most of my blood in an accident and died in the operating room before receiving a transfusion. During that time, I felt as though I was floating above the activity surrounding my body. I was able to see and hear everything clearly, and I wasn’t in any pain. I just felt warm and comfortable. Once the blood arrived and I was resuscitated, the transfusion was effective, and I began to feel the pain of my injuries. Then, I lost consciousness, and I woke up about 24 hours later. When I shared my experience with the medical staff, they were shocked and horrified, as they believed it was impossible because I was technically dead until I repeated some of the conversations.

However, when receiving anesthesia, I have never been aware of anything after feeling the cold liquid enter my vein for the first two seconds. Nevertheless, since that first experience, I have never been afraid of dying.
