The prevalence of heart attacks has been on the rise due to several contributing factors, including an unhealthy lifestyle that involves a sedentary routine, unhealthy eating habits, and harmful practices such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. Moreover, the aging population is at an increased risk of developing heart disease. Additionally, the rates of obesity and diabetes have been rising in recent years, both of which are major risk factors for heart disease. High levels of stress can also increase the risk of heart disease and heart attacks. On the other hand, advances in medical care and diagnostic techniques have led to more people being diagnosed with heart disease and heart attacks, and better survival rates have been achieved through advances in medical treatment. It is important to note that while not all heart attacks can be prevented, making lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, avoiding smoking, and managing stress can help reduce the risk of heart disease.
