It is highly unlikely for bald eagles to attack humans. According to information on Wikipedia, there have been no documented cases of bald eagles attacking humans. It is worth noting that in some Native American cultures, there were practices known as “scaffold burials” where the deceased would be placed on a tree overlooking a cliff, allowing eagles to consume the body as a spiritual offering.

Having grown up in an area near the Manistee River in Wexford County, Michigan, where eagles nested in the nearby forests, I have personally observed them constructing their nests. Throughout my experience and knowledge of the area, I have never come across any reports or incidents of eagles attacking humans.

So, while it is highly unlikely for bald eagles to pose a threat to humans, it’s important to respect their natural behaviors and habitat.
