Alright, let me provide a rewritten version of the content:

Okay, I see a lot of unhelpful answers here, full of “avoid confrontation” and “you can’t win, Rocky” nonsense. That’s not what we’re asking. Let me give you a satisfying response.

So, what are we dealing with here?

We’re talking about Ursus maritimus, the male polar bear.

    Average Shoulder Height: 5 feet / 160cm

    Average Height (Standing): 10 feet

Average Weight: 1750 lbs (equivalent to the weight of ten average men)

Note: Polar bears can grow much larger than this.

    Notable Features:

Polar bears are the largest land predators on Earth and have no natural enemies. They view humans as prey.

They have a bite force of 1,200 PSI, almost as much as the force exerted by your mom on a chair when she sits.

Their claws are as long as dinner knives, and their teeth are also quite large.

In 2019, a polar bear was recorded running at 56 km/h (35 mph) down a road in Churchill, Canada. You won’t outrun it.

You can’t wear them down either. They can swim continuously for up to 9 days; their endurance is incredible.

Their fur is incredibly thick, adapted to insulate heat in the Arctic and provide protection. It’s like punching a very obese person, and your fist bounces off their fat.

Their eyes have evolved to handle snowblindness, like a pair of sunglasses. They can see perfectly in an all-white environment, while you can’t.

They possess an incredible sense of smell. You can’t hide from them; they can smell a seal through a sheet of ice.

Polar bears are apex predators that dominate their ecosystem. What chance does an average person have against such a formidable opponent? Not much.

There’s a saying about what to do when confronted by different types of bears. It goes like this:

If it’s black, fight back, since you can often fend off these bears. They are more skittish and may flee if unsure they’ll win.

If it’s brown, play dead, as you can’t win in a fight, and they might leave you alone if you act lifeless.

If it’s white, say goodnight. Enough said.

This paints a grim reality. There’s little a human can do to drive off a polar bear, let alone harm it. The bear would easily shrug off blows from the strongest men and deliver fatal strikes with its paws.

Yelling won’t scare them away like it might with a black bear. Polar bears need a lot of food to survive, and in the nutrient-scarce Arctic habitat, humans are no exception. They won’t pass up the opportunity to see you as a potential meal.

    So, let’s summarize:

You can’t outrun them; they are faster and have better endurance.

You can’t hide from them; their senses will find you in their domain. It’s a matter of when, not if. Once the fight begins, you won’t be able to disengage.

Fighting them head-on is futile. Their thick fur and fat can dampen strikes, making them ineffective. They are also incredibly strong, and a single blow from them could be fatal.

They are bigger, faster, stronger, and better equipped. They will have the upper hand over you in almost every way. It’s like a modern-day David and Goliath.

Given this knowledge, how can you defeat a polar bear? Do you say goodnight and give up the fight against an impossible foe? Is it pointless to resist?

Hell no. I have my own saying: If it’s white, stand and fight.

    Now.
