How do you get your message across when you are rapping? What can you do to make your audience appreciate your music/lyrics?

This approach comes off as pandering to me.

Making music to state a message in any genre is fundamentally about conveying your truth. If it’s not something you are truly passionate about, people can tell. Appreciation stems from respect.

Just look at one of the most revered rappers known to man.
