They are known as Chiropterans. However, it’s important to note that the parallels between bats and other animals, such as cows, are not significant. Chiroptera is an Order in biology, as described on Wikipedia.
To understand the classification hierarchy, think of “Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, species.”
Cows, goats, sheep, antelopes, bison, and a few others belong to the Family Bovidae, as mentioned on Wikipedia. However, they are in the Order Artiodactyla (Even-toed ungulate), as described on Wikipedia. Bats, on the other hand, belong to the Order Chiroptera, which comprises numerous families. Therefore, apart from both being mammals, bats and cows have no direct relationship with each other.
