Culturally, in branding and in terms of what they offer – they are two very drastically different singers. So this comparison can only be done on pure vocal abilities.
Indian singers like Shreya, pour their entire efforts into the vocal ability – they need not dance, have any stage presence, worry about their looks, fashion, need no write songs etc. though some do that, their skill profile is 95% vocal ability and 5% rest. Whereas Kpop, the artists has to offer a lot more, so vocal – while the “necessary condition” is maybe 50% or less.
So I would give the advantage to Shreya on vocal ability.
But this is seriously like comparing 2 different sportstars. Say Messi and Federer, the athletic fitness etc., being the common factor, otherwise entirely different games.
Perhaps Shreya is better compared with OST singers like Gummy or Sondia
