I watched this in a private screening so i cannot tell you about the theatrical experience (with mass audience all around you). But one thing I can assure you is that this is a hardcore masala film that is unmissable for the fans of the first part. Usually sequels have a lower rating in terms of critical reception or general reception except for some iconic movies like Spiderman 2, Baahubali 2, etc. KGF 2 comes under this category as the latest entrant.
So, yes, if you are a fan of the first part, you can definitely enjoy on the big screen.
