Yes, very much. The original movie ‘Arjun Reddy’ was miserable for it’s sexist elements. He falls in love with a girl at very first sight, then he goes on to kiss her on her cheeks within their second meet, without her permission. And she stands there saying nothing. How can anyone show this shit? No wonder girls in our country face eve teasing and sexual harassment. Then they break up for usual classic caste reason, he goes on fucking every girl he meets, but on the other hand she leaves the guy(marriage set by their parents) and waits for the hero like a typical sanskari woman. Plus she is pregnant by the time with hero’s baby. What can you call this movie other than a sexist and misogynistic piece of shit??
On top of this, there is a classic(not so classic) scene where the female lead gets teased by other guys while playing holi, then our hero ji abuses (madarchod) those bad guys!
This movie can be applauded only for the making, raw characterisation and screenplay.
