No it isn’t. On the contrary it creates a divide between thappad and Kabir Singh. See, in Kabir Singh the girl knew how Kabir was. She knew everything. How can one hope to change a person when his family couldn’t in so many years. And was Kabir violent all the time? No. He got violent in triggered points. Like in football ground that was the other player’s mistake. In Holi again why one should be calm when someone touches his gf intentionally and against the girl’s wishes. When Kabir was leaving, she was nagging for 2 days over and over again. This might be love from her side but she had to be mature. Nagging cause irritation and thus violent behaviour. Like when husband comes home drunk at 2 am instead of 10 pm. Why would you keep on asking then and there that why are you late? Why haven’t you called? Why haven’t you told that you would be late? All food is wasted. Why are you not answering? Why do you keep drinking? etc etc. I get it , you care for him ( maybe) but these things can be discussed in the morning too. And sometimes one needs space. Continuous nagging will result in violent behaviour. Now back to Kabir. When Kabir hit her during leaving he was frustrated. On one side her father shut all ears. He was trying to explain but in vain. On the other side preety wasn’t trying to convince her parents. Rather she was saying that please don’t go and all. All these are really frustrating. Either you woman up and convince otherwise leave. Simple. Life has so many hurdles. But if you expect that someone will resolve those on your better stay in your home and don’t come out. Life is more than love, relationship and all. It’s about meeting challenges everyday and solving them. However I’m not ruling out them who despite nothing hit their woman. That is bad and they should be punished. However , dear wives, please don’t make your house a boarding school. Like when to wake up, what to eat, what not to eat, what to drink, what not to drink, what to wear, What not to wear, where to go, when to come home etc etc…. People gets frustrated and agitated with all these. See some care is okay but too much cooking spoils the broth. You must understand the trigger points and this is for both wife and husband.
