In every random Bollywood to Tollywood movies we have seen men abusing women, demeaning women, looked down upon by men , assumed weak and is shown a woman always need a man to protect her. Although today many movies are coming up with female protagonist character and there’s 180° shift on appearance and stories of movies. But movies Like Kabir Singh still make 300crore at boxoffice which clearly shows the pleasure society takes in a aggressive arrogant man character and women enjoys to get submissive one not realizing that they are just being manipulated in the name of love and marriage. It’s not culture rather torture to generalise and normalize physical violence. Husband or wife neither of the two can be physically violent or abusive on one another that’s not love. Stop encouraging crime .

Thappad is a must watch for all those who watched Kabir Singh and got mesmerized by the aggressive man and must learn Why it is not Okay to abuse someone or be abusive over someone. Beating up or mental humiliation/torture can be serious issue for health . It shows that your partner doesn’t respect you doesn’t love you. Beating up or getting violence over someone is pure dehumanizing that person. We strongly condemn the female bashing Bollywood movies like “ Kabir Singh” .
