There are several misconceptions about sustainable fashion that are prevalent among people. One common myth is that luxury brands are more sustainable
and ethical than fast fashion brands because they follow the slow fashion model .
Another misconception is that garments made of natural fibers like cotton are always eco-friendly, which is not true as
organic cotton is a better option. People also believe that ethical fashion clothes are basic or unfashionable,
which is not the case as there are several affordable and fashionable brands available .
Some people also think that quitting fast fashion will take away jobs in developing countries,
but this is not entirely true as there are sustainable brands that provide fair wages and working conditions to workers .
