This is the sort of question for which I could give very different answers, depending on when I’m asked and how I happen to feel at that particular time. I will give one such answer in the list below:
Ask me again in three months (or three years, or three days), and I could probably come up with completely different lists of some of the “most successful” songs of the 1980s, many of which would make great background or dance floor music for high school reunions (especially for those who graduated in the 1980s).
