I’m relieved that no one has posted this and allowed me to do so.
Just before we are allowed to sneak into the beautiful Kuntala kingdom, Amarendra Bahubali posing as a wimp joins the camp of Devasena and Kumara Varma. As their convoy enters the city, Amarendra Bahubali watches group of people playing Kambala like sport (Tradition annual Buffalo race played by people of some parts of Karnataka) on the outskirts of villages.
And he makes note of it.
And lter when Kuntala was attacked by an unknown invading army, Amarendra Bahubali plans the offense with the help of these bulls and their owners through Kattappa.
In a film like Bahubali, logic is least cared. But the director did not bring this stunt out of nowhere and he did add a little connection here.
For S S Rajamouli’s success, the differentiating factor from other Indian grandeur movie makers is that he rarely looks outside for an inspiration to make gigantic scenes. He simply looks into the tradition of the land of his market. By doing so, he covers from Himalayas to Kumari whereas others were struggling to do so.
