Songs. These are a drug, which heal your broken heart, your fallen spirits and bring you back to life. I don’t know how I would have survived if not for beautiful songs. Here are my favorites of all time:
1) Adventure of a Lifetime by Coldplay
Turn your magic on,
To me she’d say
Everything you want’s a dream away
Under this pressure under this weight
We are diamonds
This song tells me that everything I want to do in life, is just a dream away. All the problems, all the difficulties that come my way are nothing but a pressure which is helping me to become a diamond, and shine bright.
2) The Animal Song by Savage Garden
Sometimes this life can get you down
It’s so confusing
There’s so many rules to follow
And I feel it
‘Cause I just run away in my mind
When there are too many rules to follow, too many restrictions to abide by, this song just lifts me up. It tells me that animals and children never lie, they don’t have multiple faces, they are carefree. Be like them.
3) Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd
We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey teacher leave them kids alone
All in all it’s just another brick in the wall
This song is all about the terrors of a strict school, the fright that your teachers induce in you, and I just listen to it when I feel low. After all, I don’t need anybody’s dark sarcasm and all this is pretty much another brick in the wall!
4) Bad Day by Daniel Powter
So where is the passion when you need it the most

You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
This song has such beautiful easy to understand lyrics, no hidden meanings. It is just the song you should listen to when you are having a Bad Day!
5) Be Yourself by Audioslave
Someone falls to pieces
Sleeping all alone
Someone kills the pain
Spinning in the silence
To finally drift away
When you feel low, lack confidence and feel that your world has come crashing down, listen to this song. It urges you to Be Yourself, no matter what, because that what is you can do. You can’t change others, but you can surely Be Yourself.
6) Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day
I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don’t know where it goes
But it’s home to me and I walk alone
This song pretty much sums up life. In everybody’s life there comes a moment, when they have to walk alone, be it for a minute, for days or for years. Your shadow would be the only thing beside you and you’ll wish someone would come to your rescue.
7) Hall of Fame by The Script feat. Will.I.Am
Yeah, you can be the greatest
You can be the best
You can be the King Kong banging on your chest
You can beat the world
You can beat the war
You can talk to God, go banging on his door
The best inspirational song. A must-have in the playlist.
8) In the End by Linkin Park
I tried so hard

But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all

Needless to say more. This too is a must-have in the playlist.
9) Lose Yourself by Eminem
You better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go (go)
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow

Starin’ slowly ‘cross the sky, said goodbye
