Conceptually both the movies are fine but somewhere it looked like they tried to show more of Hindu beliefs being irrational than others, which is not correct. I think this was primarily done because other religions do not accept any facts being shown on movies or media as superstitious / irrational (though many are) & would start devastation in the country.
On the other hand, Hindus are little casual & tolerant about these things & do not create a havoc when something like this is shown!
