Textiles, particularly clothing, are vital to humans in a number of ways.

 However, the management of waste of textile is becoming great challenge and  creating a serious environmental concern. 

Governments and responsible groups are beginning to call on many stakeholders to remodel the textile chain from a linear to a circular economy. 

Some of the potential approaches include the need for the development of renewable raw material sources, rethinking production,

 maximizing the use and reuse of textile products, reproduction and recycling strategies, redistribution of textiles to new and parallel markets,

 and improving methods for extending the lifetime of textiles.
