The story is filled with intriguing moments that could fill the pages of a book. One memorable incident involved a cat who chose to give birth to her kittens in the hallway. Concerned about how my female dog would react, I cautiously made my way downstairs in the morning. To my surprise, I discovered the cat lying on her side, observing the dog as she diligently licked the kittens’ bottoms. It seemed as though the cat was silently conveying her approval, thinking, “You’re doing a fantastic job, and besides, your tongue is larger than mine.”
