  1. the best violinist in your city who is the concertmaster of the orchestra. Ask them for the recommendation. You can alway apply to Juilliard in New York, or Curtis in Philadelphia, or Eastman School of music in Rochester. All of them have a conservatory that attaches themselves to these schools.

    If you are in Toronto, go to Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. IT is connected to the Faculty of Music U of Toronto.
