Dear Comrade!! The name has a power in it!! Also it is based out of Kakinada.. Not many movies are based out of Kakinada in Telugu films. Add to that, VD as a student and there is a canteen song in it!!

I have seen the movie on 3rd day of the release along with my colleagues. I liked the movie but not my colleagues who are hardcore VD fans!!

I have asked them why they didn’t like the movie for which they said that they were expecting a Student Rebel movie like Siva… They thought just like Comrade George Reddy, there would have been some one in Kakinada whose story is being told in that movie. But, it turned out to be an out and out Love Story.. In short, ppl expected a student rebel mass entertainer but this movie turned out to be a classy love story. Movie’s main set back its name for that story..

Coming to my opinion, there is a shade of rebel in VD’s character. That is his characterization. Then, heroine’s character has got individuality. Their characters are similar (rebel in nature) and hence, fell in Love but again the same characteristic of their’s causes break up (their rebel nature). Till here i was enjoying the movie. I have actually loved the character development and the point where they have got separated. Later on both went on in their lives. I loved the way they met each other again. But there after there are too many points have been told in a short time. That made the movie little clustered… Otherwise the movie is a brilliant one..
