Putting yourself out there any way possible. Perform on the street, in parks, competitions, fairs, coffeehouses, bars, wineries, etc. Have your music readily available online and cds to offer and promote in your live performances.

Dont be afraid to take feedback and constructive criticism. People typically won’t waste their time giving you advice if there is not substance to it , so listen well and use it to create a sound that is in tune with what your fans want to hear.
