Student of the year? I remember mixed feelings used to arise, the numerous puns and the bloopers are not a matter of past still. However, what my crooked brain tried to carve out of all these was a bit…crooked! o.O Well the movie does represent a typical quintessential student life. Desired or undesired the movie foregoes the life of the youth which is residing in a way or two inside nearly every youngster nowadays. Whatsoever be the concept and loopholes, the title appears perfectly apt and to me it seems an ideal character sketch for any teenager of the era. ( Dunno, if Karan Johar did that with a sarcastic purport or was it a yet another glamorously naive thing of his brain! – the second one seeming to be more plausible. With the immense glamorization or dramatization I must say, every youngster of today’s era considers numerous plot twists in the story of his life, the songs and the books being the icing upon the cake.. So what I can feel is a bit sillyish pity poor thing upon the poking critiques of the movie so far.. Cuz, alas! All their criticism seem to be fallen at the already filled up loop holes!
