If kuch kuch hota hai was to be remade today. Here is who I would cast.

Siddharth Malhotra as Rahul – Siddharth also has a charming look and will do good as a romantic player. However, I have never seen him play a father before. For that, I would also recommend Ranbir Kapoor. He can do really well in fatherly roles.

For the role of Anjali (Rahul’s best friend), I would recommend Alia Bhatt. She has a more westernized type of image. So I think she is a good fit for the role. Sonam Kapoor is also a good choice for Anjali.

Shraddha Kapoor can be Tina Malhotra.

For the role of Aman Mehra, I would cast Varun Dhawan. He and Salman Khan have similar acting skills. If not him, then Ranveer Singh will be my second choice.

For Anjali (Rahul’s daughter). I would recommend any child artist
