The Siberian Tiger holds the distinction of being the largest cat on Earth. At its maximum limits, it can reach a length of up to 13 feet from nose to the tip of its tail. Standing at the head, it can measure 5 feet 2 inches tall. On average, Siberian Tigers weigh between 280 and 380 kilograms. However, there have been exceptional cases where individuals have surpassed these averages. For example, a captive Siberian Tiger named Jaipur weighed an impressive 465 kilograms, measured 13 feet in length, and stood 4 feet 6 inches at the shoulders.

Bengal Tigers, on the other hand, are the most common subspecies of tigers and rank as the second largest among the Tiger Subspecies. In some cases, they can even grow larger than Siberian Tigers in the wild, although the aforementioned 465-kilogram Siberian Tiger was in captivity. The largest recorded Bengal Tiger measured 4 feet 4 inches tall at the shoulders, extended up to 11 and a half feet in length from nose to tail, and weighed 389 kilograms in the wild. It is worth noting that larger specimens exist but have unfortunately fallen victim to poachers. Tigers and other big cats have the potential to continue growing if they have ample food availability and remain injury-free. However, due to habitat loss and frequent conflicts with humans, such cases are becoming increasingly rare. Some sources even claim that Tigers can exceed 900 pounds in weight, but such weights are commonly achieved by Siberian Tigers among all the big cats.
