Darshan Raval is an Indian singer, composer, actor, and songwriter. He sings predominantly in Hindi along with Gujarati and Telugu. He was the first runner-up in the StarPlus music reality show, India’s Raw Star in 2014.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India on 10 June 1990, Darshan started singing at the age of 11 years old when he joined his school choir. He began writing songs at the age of 15 years old and soon after that he started participating in various competitions where he won several awards for his singing.

In 2011, Darshan moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming a singer and began working with several music composers including Amit Trivedi and Ankit Tiwari. In 2013, he sang “Aasmanon Pe Likha Nahi” for the film Ishaqzaade which went on to become a huge hit among listeners all over India.

In 2014 when StarPlus announced their new reality show called India’s Raw Star where contestants had to perform live on stage each week with judges Armaan Malik, Salim Merchant, Sona Mohapatra and Hussain Dalal sitting in front of them watching their every move; there were several well-known singers
