The Warrior Princess of Kunthala on one side and an equally bold Woman Warrior from Kunthala on the other side.
Let’s analyze what we know about their lives before telling who is more powerful.
Devasena was the sister of the King of Kunthala. She was a warrior princess who firmly believed in herself. She never depended on her brother (Jayasena) and husband (Amarendra Bahubali). Later, she even waited with an iron will that her son, Mahendra Bahubali is still alive and will come rescue her. Mahendra Bahubali was thought to be dead. She had to wait for 25 years, uncertain whether her son might come or not. She wanted revenge badly. She lost all her loved ones. Her husband, brother, sister in law, mother in law and even Kumaravarma were brutally killed. Her sons life was always in danger. But she had tremendous willpower and strength.
Avantika is a warrior woman looking to rescue Devasena from the clutches of the evil Emperor, Bhallaladeva. She was strong enough to defend herself and not depend on her husband (Mahendra Bahubali).
Both women were strong. But when compared, Devasena proves to be more powerful. This is because she lost everyone she loved and trusted to death, didn’t live the life she was supposed to lead (wife of Amarendra Bahubali and the Queen of Mahishmati), was chained and tortured for 25 years, her son was assumed to be dead and she got to see her brother after 25 years only to see him killed the following day by Bhallaladeva.
