Why should it? It is an Indian movie. It has got enough appreciation in India. It does not matter if it gets a Hollywood award or not. At least it shouldn’t. We need to see the competing movies which, I guess, come from all over the world in order to explain why didn’t 3 Idiots get the Oscar.
But it got appreciated where it was supposed to be. Let the Oscar appreciate their own movies which are relevant to their culture. Let’s not make Oscar the greatest movie award of all time for no reason.
