Great white sharks are typically solitary creatures, often spending their time alone. However, there are instances when they gather near mating grounds or specific locations with abundant food sources.
Due to their preference for deep waters, studying great white sharks on a regular basis can be challenging. Their elusive nature and habitat make it difficult for researchers to consistently observe and monitor them.
