I was curious who that person was.
So I went to Twitter. I don’t know why I should hate her. But I’m not so certain if she likes me as a potential customer.
That was one of the 3 top articles.
Sure, in the full context of the story and not a click bait headline, she talks about not making her music for cross race appeal. And draws from Black culture as inspiration.
Cool. Still the phrasing was unfortunate. And if Taylor Swift said she isn’t making music for black folks in the same context? She would be cancelled and labeled world’s number 1 racist.
I pity not Lizzo, but all those mongrels that are there to showcase how understanding they are.
As for her? I don’t hate her. I don’t even know she existed. But I’m pretty sure I don’t want to know more. Or listen to her music for that matter.
