He wasn’t sleeping actually Arijit didn’t have any plan to attend the award function but mahesh bhat(producer of Aashiqui 2) asked him to come as he was very late he took a flight and didn’t have time to wear good clothes so he came in casuals, he was bit late in the show and was tired also so salman joked on him and when he also did the same, he made fun of his song but still Arijit handled the situation very nicely he didn’t gave any reply but when they were hugging he said sorry in his ears, I don’t think Arijit had even 1 percent of fault.
