    The straightforward answer is “Yes.”

My belief is that for food style, one should follow India, for family life, follow the East (including India), and for work life and technology, follow the West. During my time in Australia, I met a Chinese person who had settled there for over 10 years. He mentioned that the most common cancer in Australia is colon cancer, and it’s due to the high consumption of red meat.

Red meat, such as beef, lamb, and pork, has been classified as a Group 2A carcinogen, meaning it probably causes cancer. While most Westerners consume meat every day, even though non-vegetarian people make up the majority in India, most people rarely consume meat every day. The average Indian person consumes meat once a week, with some exceptions such as coastal people in Kerala or people from West Bengal who may consume meat more frequently, but it’s mostly fish, which is considered healthier.

A typical Western breakfast might consist of meat, while a typical Indian breakfast might include vegetarian options such as dosa or idli.

In the past, meat consumption was even lower in India due to less commercial production of meat. People in India predominantly consume more green leaves, which are considered very healthy, especially in South India where green leaf consumption is encouraged.

Cancer rates across the globe vary by region.

When it comes to professional work life in India, it can be chaotic with low-level politics in offices. In MNC’s, it’s comparatively better due to geographically distributed teams working with Western people, but it’s still more prevalent than in the West. Non-technical people without an understanding of technical things often influence technical decisions, and meetings with only Indian participants may start late without respect for other people’s time. People often prioritize getting fancy titles rather than concentrating on technical work. In all these aspects, it’s beneficial to follow the West.
