To lose fat, you need to follow real-life strategies that work. Here are eight strategies that you can follow:
(1) Take at least 20 minutes to eat your meal. Put down your utensils after every bite, chew your food at least 20 times, avoid watching TV while eating, and set a timer for 20 minutes. This will allow your body enough time to signal your brain that you are full, so you won’t overeat.
(2) Fill half of your plate with veggies. This will ensure that you consume a lot of nutrients and fiber, which will keep you full and slow down your meal.
(3) Eat veggies and protein first, and carbs last. This ensures that you eat the most nutritious foods first and leave the worst for last.
(4) Have a glass of water before the meal. This makes you a little full before you start eating, so you don’t choose unhealthy foods or stuff yourself.
(5) Get at least 45 minutes of physical activity every day. This can be anything you enjoy, even walking. Exercise is not the main factor in fat loss, but it does help.
